Spanish Style

There is a strong Spanish/Mexican influence on Southern California architecture, being so close to the Mexican border. A large part of my design-and-build work is comprised of Spanish-styled doors, furniture and cabinetry. Different styles come in and out of fashion, lasting several years before a new style takes over, but the historic Spanish style in Southern California is strong enough to stand the test of time. This is a design style that is not going to fade out. Pictured in this blog are some of the entryways and interior doors I have made in the Spanish style, doors that blend beautifully with the Mexican and Spanish architecture so well there would be no reason to change simply because the style was supposedly not in vogue anymore. Along with this I have found that good-quality workmanship never goes out of style either. When I build an entryway for a home it is made to last for generations, and it is meant to be loved for generations.
